Potpourri
In this gallery are a number of techniques, processes and themes that intrigue me. I continue to make my own fabric designs through dyeing, screen printing or dye painting. Every once in awhile commercial cotton fabric is used.
Messages
41”H x 70”W $1100 During a trip to South America I became fascinated with the marks that people carved in stone. I decided to make my own marks on bits of leftover fabric creating a different story.

Misty Glen
51”H x 51”W $1950 This piece speaks to me of a walk in the woods on a foggy day. The organic feel of the hand dyed fabrics contribute to the play of light and shadow creating a sense of mystery.
The Pond
47”H x 68”W$1800 In the agricultural midwest there are many farm ponds, pastures, and meadows. Pockets of color from wildflowers dot the landscape in rhythmical movement.
The Garden
40” x 75” (Can be hung either horizontal or vertical) $2,200 I think of this piece as a formal garden favored by the Victorians. It is certainly not the landscape in my yard. Mixing up all the glorious variations of reds with its neighbors on the color wheel cheers my very soul.
