Bridges fascinate me. Every
time I drive near a river I am aware of the bridges and
the patterns they make against the natural landscape.
Bridges bring together people and places. They
connect us to a larger world. They provide a
crossing from the familiar to the unfamiliar. As I
have worked with this theme I have become more aware of
the symbolism bridges have in relationship to the
journey of life.
